KENSINGTON - September 26, 2010 (WPVI) -- In what could turn out to be another black eye for the Philadelphia towing industry, Philadelphia Police are investigating a confrontation between two tow truck drivers that turned deadly in the parking lot of a Kensington pub.
Philadelphia police say at around 3:00 a.m. Sunday, two drivers got into an argument. After heated words, one driver got into his truck, and struck the other man who drove for Siani's towing.
The suspect, who detectives say worked for Straight Up Towing, was apprehended a short distance away in the 2300 block of Auburn Street.
The victim, believed to be in his 30s, was pronounced dead at Temple University Hospital.
