I got an email from a customer, which I would like to share with everyone.
We got called me for some assistance from a new tow truck operator that was in a jam on used truck they purchased.
I just happened to be back in Canada for few weeks. So I answered the phone and dealt with it as we deal with any customer,
I told them to slide by and we would see what we we can do to help out. They where very surprised, but this is how we
deal with all our customers.
We assist any customer with parts and after sales support regardless of product name, who they purchased it from and we even provide
after sales support to our towing competitors. A lot of our competitors will call us at 2 or 3 am for wire rope or hydraulic hose,
we always assist them. Anyone that knows us, will tell you we run first class.
We are tow truck operators by nature (built for towers by towers), so we know what it takes to keep things on the road.
We are here to assist anyone if we can.
After that shop was done, we got a surprise visitor from the USA, they took a wrong turn and wound up at Metro in Canada, I
am sure they will announce something or make a post about the trip. We welcome anyone who wants to visit us in China or Canada anytime.

My name is Shawn Ouimet, Louis-Philippe Crevier (LP or Louis) and I are co-owners of SLP Towing.. On Friday April 30/2010 we purchased a new tbar for our 3500hd. We are a new business and learning the ins and outs of starting and maintaining a business such as this.. There have been challenges and frustrations along the way to say the very least.. A recent problem with the t-bar on one of our trucks was exactly what we didn't need.. Being new to this locating parts and good service has been a challenge, until I called Metro Tow Trucks.. The first person I spoke to was none other than the big man himself, now that is freakin impressive.. I didn't know who Webb really was until I read your w/site, now that I do and he was the first person I spoke to says a lot for the kind of business you run.. From minute one I received perfect and professional service, they knew I was new to this and I never once felt taken advantage of.. Metro Tow Trucks has done more for us than just fix the truck, you have all given us a sense of security knowing that if we have a serious issue your team will have our back.. We may be just starting but my family has been in the automotive industry for more than 40 years and sometimes we have more contacts than we know what to do with.. We will be growing and I can promise you one thing, all our trucks will be sporting wreckers from Metro Tow Truck.
I realize you may not have time for this but please take another minute or two to read on.. I would really like it if Webb would see this email, even better than that, maybe print it and put it up somewhere.. A team such as yours deserves to see how a client feels.. We spent some time around your garage on Friday while my truck was being repaired.. I tried really hard to stay out of the way but what I found was members of the Metro team coming to us and explaining what was going on, I didn't even have to ask.. I have been around garages all my life and have never seen that before.. I know a t-bar seems small fry to you guys but for us at this stage it's a little bit of a punch in the stomach.. I'll tell you though, I feel like I was treated as though I was spending twenty thousand dollars.. Oh ya another thing, without me even asking the pin in my door was taken care of as well, now that's a team that cares..
I'm not sure what the mechanics name was but please extend my thanks to him. His work and service were 1st rate..
Again, I would really appreciate it if this email would be shared with Webb and the rest of your awesome team.. It would make us very happy if they all knew the effect they had... Webb, you have a team that you should be damn proud of and I'm sure you are.. My hat is off to you and the rest of your team.. Your hands on service is nothing short of amazing in todays market and I aim to share that with anyone who will listen. We will be spending a lot of money with you guys in the future and look forward to our fleet of Metro Tow Truck Equipment.
I hope you guys don't mind, I have been using a few forums to gather info and advice on certain issues and I have shared this message and a link to all your sites in these forums.. I of course took out any names, let people learn those on their own..
