Here is a good one for you. I got the call from THP and said they needed a class A I65 southbound at the 119. I said sure Ill be right there. Then the
dispatcher said let me give you a heads up on the situation. OK. He said we have a car that is under a tanker and we need to lift the tanker off of the car
to get it out. So I asked how big the tanker was. He said it was a full size transfer trailer. I told him a class A would not lift it but I would bring a
truck big enough for the job. Then I asked about the car if it would tow after I got it out of under the trailer. He said he didnt know so I said I would
bring a rollback also.
Then he said all the trooper asked for was a class A. I said Ok
and
headed out. When I showed up with the 2 trucks, none of which were a class A, the trooper asked who called us. I said "you did and with the information
given these are the trucks i need for the job. I could tell she was not happy but we did the job anyway. After we were done she appologized and said she
didnt know what she was thinking and was glad we brought the right trucks. From time we arrived on scene to time we left was 15 min.
Tell me what you think.
