Now I just would like to know about heavy duty towing.. I am in Alabama, Based in Alabama, and do long distance towing... From what I read of the 50 pages or so of the rules and regulations which are suggested, I read that I can come up to Virginia in tow, drive though or drop the unit and be legal... BUT if I am doing a swap for "MY CUSTOMER" then I can not hook up the bad unit and tow it back without being "ILLEGAL"... I read it the same way as you have. If I understand right there will be a day pass or it may be a 3 day pass that can be purchased, and the idea was to have that available 24 hours a day via the Internet. Now that is what I remember from discussions so I'm not sure exactly where we are on that process yet or if that is still the plan.
now that's interesting.
mark I have trying to keep abreast of this as I'm a mod in this room. discussions such as these sometimes have a way of going crazy so to speak.
Maybe so I can get a better understanding of all this, there is one burning question that I need answered in order for me to look at this properly.
Could you possibly list all of the members that are on this board and there affiliation (especially in respect to "Major Incident Heavy Recovery Operators Association" (MIHROA) )
also maybe a note to some of you posting in here, I do find some of your posts very hard to follow as to the structure and possibly in need of some editing.
