2008 Chevy 5500...wierd noise! |

My '08 has a wierd noise coming from the cab area. It's sounds as if the hood isn't latched tight when you hit any kind of bump.
It's not the hood. Shocks look good. I am guessing cab mounts? I was hoping someone experienced the same problem and point me in the right direction.

try the dash. the plastic panel that has the defrost vents. bad design or something it dosent have enough clips to keep it sturdy. it flaps around and makes
a noise that sounds like the cab is going to fall off.

Dash checks out ok and air filter is tight.
