well the price of scrap is up and we have been cleaing house. we tried to lower the boom so we could tow it over the scale but nothing was working. we cracked
the lines, played with the lever did everything. finally we said lets flip it on its side and cut the boom. oh well, it wasn't pretty but got it done
jersey style.

They have a holding valve down by the end of the boom... Although if you crack the holding valve that boom will come crashing down...
Even if you take the lines completely off, drain the tanks the ram is still full of hydraulic fluid and it won't pass the holding valve. It's a safety feature. Although the torch also does work great too.. Devin
