But that is my prospective of the units. Hopefully the buyer of this unit adds one of the ultra thin clear lens light bars. As much as I can I make sure every truck without a light bar is stopped and asked for paperwork on the repo. More then half do not have proper paperwork. Take a look at the Top of the Pylon It has the 3 LED DOT strip and we did the STOP , TURN & TAIL as well. Also it's is equipped with 6 Piranha Strobing LED 2 of which can be seen on the Pylon full 360 Degree flashing is achieved. Personally i would put a Lightbar on it as well The more the Better. Duh, I forgot the repo guys call their work recovery. All black is nice look but for those of us that do real recovery work on the roadside, all black is less desirable from a nightime visibility aspect. Black is also very hard to keep clean. Posts you have made earlier have sold me on the idea of returning to gas motors in the future. Either way, that is a sharp looking truck. Here repo only companies are not required to have AWLS on the truck. If you use it for "regular" tows too then yeah, put a light bar on is so when you are picking up on the side of the freeway or something but if not, why would you buy something that you are never gonna use? I'm just sayin... Stopped and checked for paperwork on repo if no light bar!?! If the repo guy's paperwork is shady he should get yanked, light bar or not. I something were to occur during that tow, have then emergency lights would be of benefit to the public as a warning. Over the years I have seen several repo units in situations which they would have benefited from rear facing lighting. They had non, not even spot lights which could be turned on. Stealth is one thing, night time repo with no lights not bright. Most never check the lugs, I repo'ed a P/U Truck one night in a trailer park (years ago) narrow street no lights cars parked both sides. Steering would have been locked had the keys not been in the ignition. I get about a block and a half away to finish the hook up and to my amazement the truck was sideways in the roadway. It never it a thing, simply amazing. I have done hundreds of these type of tows a year and while repo people want to put themselves in another classification. Like road service, regular tow companies were doing them long before the repo only companies came along. Like Private Property Impounds, Salvage Transport, Service Runs, etc. Regular tow companies didn't want to do the work, looking back it was a piece of the puzzle that has been chipped away at over the years. Only reason the Motor Clubs do not have a network of dedicated tow companies are the rates. But then I am taking away from this great unit.
