(rear wheels slip and slid a LOT... ?? anyone know of a PD list that will allow a single wheeled truck ?? and a LOT of towers here on 411 have complained about people running around with single wheeled trucks.... ....... ?? other peoples thoughts ??? stay safe Rod

Posts: 1151 12/16/2007 19:01	Well, if I am not mistaken those are michelin(?) xk or mk 1's, I cant remember which. They have the same amount of tread contacting the pavement as a set of duals. Around here all of the Pilot fuel tankers run them. I had an in depth converstaion about them on a 200 mile tow, the driver said he liked them 10x's better than duals. The part about the flat would concern me though. "I would rather be hated for who I am than loved for who I am not"

Museum Member WreckMaster #030384 Moderator	None of our rotation contracts say anything about dual rear wheels.They only require diffrent class of trucks to be on rotations nothing about tires.I am thinking about putting them on our quickswap.Every thing I am hearing about the super singles is positive. Tator envy wrote that a flat tire would be the only concern,I agree that would be my ONLY concern but I am not rear worried about that,20 years in business with many trucks,One flat tire. He loved them. He said they are very responsive and have about the same traction as duals. I bet it saves weight.
