who has the shortest 4x4 chassis height? |

I am looking for a 4x4 self loader to do parking structures. Who has the shortest chassis out there?
I looked at a '04 f450 and they were about 6'10" with a flip down light bar. I am thinking Chevy or GMC 3500hd, but wonder what they measure? Thanks Tim |

I would say Chevy or GMC 3500. Cant be more than 4" taller than their 2x4. with the IFS 4 wheel drive they don't need the added height to clear the
center section of a strait axle under the oil pan.

Im pretty sure the 4x2 and 4x4 on 3500 are very close because of the IFS.

Our low clearance truck is a 92 chevy 3500 (gas motor). The top of is 6'3".

the 2x4 and 4x4 chevys are the same height unless you have diffrent size tires. You can actually take a 2wd truck and install the 4x4 pig in the front
suspension and change the outer bearings and make it a 4x4 truck

I have sold several GM/Chev 3500HD with MPL/MPL40's on the back.Very popular forlow-clearance applications. Don't forget the fold-down lightbar
brackets!

GM or Chevy's have the lowest height. I'll be glad to check and let you know exactly tomorrow.
