GRUNDY, Va. — A man was seriously injured following an accident in Buchanan County involving a mobile home.

Trooper J.N. Looney responded to the accident June 9 on Route 80 in the Council community of Buchanan County, according to Corinne Geller, public relations director for the Virginia State Police.

Geller said Bradley’s Wrecker Services, out of St. Paul, Va., was transporting a mobile home eastbound on Route 80 when the truck pulled off to the right and stopped to make some adjustments to the tow dolly. During the course of making the adjustments, Geller said the trailer tilted to the side and the mobile home slipped to the side trapping one of the wrecker service employees between the frame of the mobile home and the wheel.

Geller said the employee, an adult male, was flown to Bristol Regional Medical Center and is still being treated for serious injuries.
