The company I work for has a 2014 F550 flatbed with the v10 engine. It was purchased new and been farily reliable. The engine dropped a valve at around 50k, and Ford replaced the engine under warranty. Currently the truck has 136k, and has developed a valve train noise that we have found to be a bad cam follower, which has eaten the cam, on the right bank. Has anyone seen this kind of failure before? All of the oil changes has been done on time, with proper fluids and filters.
