Posts: 319 Nov 18 12 12:43 PM Kentucky	Tags : None 1996 KW W900 with a 1999 5030/T35 Remote: The wired remote seems to be working, can here the box click when I hit the buttons but nothing activates. Stiff legs: Over night the legs leak down in the rear. They operate fine during operation and no leaks observed. Camera: The camera shows a white screen when powered up. Can I get some help diagnosing these issues to save me some time please. This is my first Hydraulic Heavy Duty bed. I'm skilled on the Holmes 750, it did not have a remote? LOL! Thanks ahead of time for any replies.

Posts: 189 Nov 18 12 5:45 PM Directory Listing Pending	remotes need air supply to operate , if you get a activation but no movement ,check the air at the vavles, they are in the main control box in between the frame rails under the boom, at least mine were on a 9055, , legs leak on all them, local miller dealer told me just get used to it, not hurting anything, they just put too small of width seel form the ram manufacturer, no idea on the camera,sorry

Posts: 4744 Nov 19 12 6:12 PM WreckMaster #99220 Texas	what Grady said. You're not getting air to the air solenoids. Stiff leg drop is just the way it is... If you have a dual head camera setup switch heads and see what happens or if you have two inputs on your monitor (normally A & B) switch inputs and see what happens.

Posts: 20 Nov 19 12 9:37 PM Directory Listing Pending	Pull the connections loose and check the connections to the camera and place some dielectric grease in the connections and check the camera to see if the white screen is still present. If this doesn't help, then idk. Good luck.

Posts: 502 Nov 20 12 8:44 AM WreckMaster #020893 Ontario, Canada	Remote issue, mine used to do this all the time, the solenoids after some time do not have the power to pull the cables, over time the cables tighten up, you have to get them all freed up and working first. Also, I know on some of the earlier remote systems, they updated to a stronger soleniod to help with this. Another question, you said the wired, have you tried the wireless one? As for the camera, you have lost a connection somewhere. Mine was always at the connection plug at the back of the truck. Water and road grime would get in there and corrode the connections. I ended up cutting the connection out and hard wiring it, worked much better after that. The wires are small and a pain to work with though.

Posts: 319 Dec 14 12 10:58 AM Kentucky	QueenswayTire, I don't have a wireless remote, guess that's what the antenna is for in the rear of the bed. I am just going to replace the camera. I found a short behind the screen and no matter what I do I can't get a good picture. I can get the four wireless camera system cheap enough. I'm quitting the Sheriffs Office in two weeks because things are too busy at the company now,, Good reason to quit Law Enforcement! Stiff legs are aggravating the crap out of me!! Can't stand something not working as it should. Now I'm trying to figure out what wheel lift system to get for it. I guess I'm going to go with the Century heavy duty bus lft system. We will be towing many RV's soon enough. RModrO2, MTA415, Grady853, thanks for the replies. No better place to get help than here!
