Posts: 525 Jun 19 12 6:23 PM	Pop the hood and pop the shift linkage off and put the trans in any range but park. Most you can acess pretty easily as a lot of car dont have override buttons, in fact i'd say the majority of them do not.

Posts: 298 Jun 20 12 9:04 AM Arizona	I stay away from disconnecting anything on a vehicle, can run into problems simply because that's the way people are. Instead I use my spray bottle of bed slicker concoction, slides up easily and off just as easy, no binding on the drive train. But if you do go for that under-hood linkage - set the parking brake first !!

Posts: 64 Jun 20 12 1:06 PM	Use to use a product for electricians, it is used to coat long runs 10-16ga wire and then pulled through metal conduit. Washed off pretty easy to. Use to by from local commercial electrical company, haven't seen any of that brand anymore though.

Had a Honda Accord the other day with no keys parked nose in on a driveway with a downward hill and the wheel were cut to the left with the steering wheel locked. After two motorclubbers couldn’t get it loaded and three hours later the customer called me. Threw skates and had it loaded in minutes. The customer paid retail and cancelled their club membership. Point being there has been numerous times that skates have made me look like a hero.
