Posts: 23 03/11/2012 3:52 PM	Tags : None We just picked up a international 4300 with a 21' century series 10 stell bed. We just discovered that the 6 marker lights on the bed dont work, checked into it and there is no hot wire to them. who ever had it must of never used it at night seeing it was a salvage yeard truck... All the lights ground out right at the light to the bed and htere is a pvc pipe with thte wires from the rear coming to the front and the front all run into one wire. but we can not see where to run a pos. wire to give them juice..considering a coil wire setup but i know there has to be a factory way... Posts: 178 04/12/2012 4:42 PM Massachusetts	The marker lights on the 10 series century beds run off a lead in the bed's wiring harness which is housed in a tray with the hydraulic lines that go to the winch. Your local century dealer will sell the two winch hydraulic lines and the 7-wire electrical cord in one nice little pre assembled package very reasonably priced. The electrical cord is routed under a sheet metal guard on the front pass corner underneath the bed. It is joined with a butt connector to the corner marker light and then daisy - chained to all the other marker lights on the bed side. The other end of the hoses / wiring harness will exit the bottom of the bed in the large tray on the pass side above the wheel lift, then the wiring harness is terminated in a plastic junction box on a frame cross member behind the rear axle. If you plan to keep the truck any length of time I HIGHLY recommend using a new harness directly from Century if the problem is there. Its possible that the problem could be between the junction box and the chassis light switch. Also we used to have problems with the individual ground wires at each light, seems like each month we would lose one or two because of the ground. If the truck wasn't used at night then its quite possible that each ground point went south without anybody even noticing (I know this first hand working at a salvage yard for the past 5 years, every fall I would find half my lights didn't work ) so check those first. If you do buy the harness ask the dealer's service department exactly how to take the tray apart, there is a method to it and you can spend two straight days standing upside down on your head if the right sequence isn't followed. But many times it is currosion in the sheet metal under the bed where everything is daisy chained. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me Matt

Posts: 23 07/15/2012 5:48 PM	I see it's been a while but thanks. I found it. It was the main harness that wasn't even there, the previous owner had it rip and just left it. We ran new 4 wire thru it but we just blew the winch in hose. I seen the previous post about 2 hoses and wire in the bundle. Can you pm me a price as we have no local dealer and if you have time the proper way to remove channel Thanks
