Ok, my 97 International has an A/C issue. The issue is it works intermittintly.I just did an evac and recharge and replaced the accumulator. It works great and blows nice cold air, then after an hour or so it quits. Turning it on and off again (The AC) gets its working again for awhile. When its not working the low pressure side sucks down to a vacumn. I was told to replace the accumulator and that didn't help. One shop tells me the compressor and another tells me the expansion valve needs replaced. Anyone have this problem before. Everything works perfect, right up until it doesn't! Any advice would be appreciated. Oh yeah if it makes a difference the truck is a dt466 full mechanical (not an E).
