Re: Police find family stranded 10 hours in snow, 25 km from highway (reply)
Just another example of not knowing where you are going. Trip pre-planning is a must to prevent this. 25 km down an unplowed road? At what point do you think you may have made a wrong turn ? ...............Glad that everyone was safe...

Re: Did Jamie Davis start a new trend? (reply)
In my area of Ontario, Bell Maintenance vans, rural mail delivery, commercial snow plows, etc., you name it they all run up and down the roads with their ambers on. There should be a law that is enforced to help protect the emergency...

Re: How Victims of Stolen Cars Are Victimized Twice (CA) (reply)
Another classic " woe is me " story.  How many times do the tow companies get stiffed for payment because the RO walks away because the car is junk. How often do we get screwed by credit card companies over disputed transactions after...

slow down/move over penalty (topic)
I feel that the provincial governments should penalize all violators with the same penalty as those who pass a school bus when the red lights are flashing. Maybe then the general public will get the message. " SLOW THE F*** DOWN "  Of...

7.3 swap (reply)
My 2001 4700 and my 1995 4700 have the same motors. Electronics are different. Exhaust off of the turbo is different. Everything else appears to be the same. I have borrowed parts from the '01 ( now a donor truck ) to repair the '95. You...

Re: OPP towing and impounding (reply)
I have no idea what the $150 admin. fee is or who is able to charge $100/day storage. If the tow company is part of a tow association then they are to follow the rates agreed upon and set by their fellow tow members. Had previous posters...

Re: 2008 F650 Cummins run without lift pump? (reply)
My 04 650 cummins will shut down and not restart when the lift pump goes bad. I have put two lift pumps on in 156,000 miles or 251,000 km for us Canadians.

Re: Do you like your 650? (reply)
I have an '04 650 S/C that has been an awesome truck. Cummins/Allison combo. Great on fuel, decent ride, cold A/C. Inside cab noise is minimal. Had to replace injectors due to excessive water in fuel ( flood retrievals-self inflicted...
