Did this recovery about 30 mins before a heavy snow/ice storm turned the city into a disaster. Ended up doing almost 35 calls this day, this one was #4 and was done 6hrs into my normally 10hr shift.
I don't have many action shots as I was block the only road in/out of a big subdivision and was at the bottom a slippery hill. Wanted to be in/out as quickly as possible.
This is how I found the car upon arriving on scene.
Did my weight calculations and decided that it would be well within my equipments ability to just vertically lift it straight back up onto the roadway to do the roll-over.
I used straps to attach the car to the back of the wrecker on both ends to keep it from swinging.
And hook and ready to rock and roll.
Only the driver and she was uninjured. Little shook up and wet, but the people in the neighborhood came to her aid with some dry clothes and a warm place to wait until her husband showed up.
