Regular Member National Trainer Florida	Tags : None I'm pleased as punch to let everyone know our 1st heavy class in Tavares this past weekend is now in the books. The 12 students, most of whom had previously been certified in light, medium or heavy, had some great comments on their student survey form (filled out before they knew they passed the exam). We also had 3 students will only 6 months experience and 1 with 3 months. My congratulations to all the students for their hard work. NATA instructor Garrett Paquette did an outstanding job over the last 5 months, putting this program together with me and teaching the class. We hope this will be the first of many to come. Garrett will post some pictures in the near future for all to see. Thanks...David

Posts: 330 06/30/2008 23:37	What a great group of operators, I would like to thank all of you for taking time away from your jobs and families to invest in yourselves. I was impressed with all who attended from the new operator with only 4 months experience all the way to the veterans. Hats off to all of you. Here's our class Photo standing next to the tractor trailer we rolled over, and the next picture is two teams setting up for an end-roll on a box truck. I had a few conversations with Garret and Dave before this class and was impressed with the "nuts and bolts" approach that was being used to set it up. What was the outcome of the WLL of the forks Garrett????lol...maybe I'll have the opportunity in the future to see what you 2 have come up with, I know its a positive step for the Industry and will just grow from here. Posts: 331 07/01/2008 06:07	Jan, I too wish you could have been with us this weekend, when the hands on or practical knowledge part of the program was being presented you would have been proud of the students. Everyone caged brakes, hooked up to the rear of a tractor, rigged three different snatch-block scenarios, etc. As you can see in picture 2 all students were actively involved.
