Posts: 816 06/25/2008 22:08 Featured Member August 2008 Florida	Tags : None I own a 2006 Nissan Titan. Love that truck!! Here is a picture of the truck. 8500 miles on this one too, it was still new. Yesterday evening I decided to take one of the dogs to the spillway, BAD IDEA!! He jumped over me and out of the truck and of course I took off after him, but..... I thought my truck was in park and evidently it was in drive. It drove down the small hill, hit the water, stopped twice and floated away. Made a left and drifted 200 ft down the canal and sank. So for now I own a seriously WET Nissan Titan, or did, the insurance picked it up today to estimate the damage . We had to call a diver to get it, used one of our wreckers to recover it and towed it to the shop. Here is a slide show of the recovery. I am supposed to be recovering other people's trucks that do this. NOT MINE!!! Don't I feel stupid now!! I got a few new nicknames for this one, The Little Mermaid, Nemo, U Boat Commander, Swamp Thing I'm sure there will be more. Last Edited By: TowgirlFL 06/25/2008 22:29. Edited 1 time.

Posts: 135 06/26/2008 00:38	I was Sleeping when Steph called me all I heard her say was you need to bring me some towels I got wet so half asleep I grab towels, cell phone and keys and jump in the car get to where she is and see Steph (dry) dog, police and a tow truck. For some odd reason after arriving I don't think I heard her right. After I find out what happened had to run back home to get camera so now I become photographer, dog sitter and pet taxi. I did take her to get something to eat and a well needed drink. Oh I almost forgot the two really annoying that just had to stop by to watch and add their 2 cents in on how to recover the truck needless to say they have never even operated a tow truck, the police officer did run them off real quick. All kidding aside I was happy to see her and the dog were ok. Life's too short. Grudges are a waste of perfect happiness. Laugh when you can, apologize when you should and let go of what you can't change.
