How exciting! Fuel has reached $139 a barrel this afternoon! The main problem here is futures and commodities traders manipulating the energy market. If the
government doesn't step in with some kind of regulations, AND QUICK, we're all in more trouble than I think we realize! When OPEC says it's not a
supply problem, they're really not lying...

I agree with you Anthony, it's not an OPEC problem, I believe it's an "OPIC" problem (Oil Producing Importing Country) such as the United
States and is made more problematic by the Congress of the United States. Why won't they react? is the question I'd like to see answered.
I have not failed, I have found 10,000 ways that won't work.

I'm rolling even at $10.00/gal. Let it rip! I don't give a sheet anymore. Most goes on to the customer, I eat some, taxes get the rest. Sheet happens!
Go Bulls!

30 whole cents down to 4.69! I was soooo happy! So I had all the big trucks topped off, so when it goes back above 5 bucks on Monday I'll think I got one

With the public outrage, the attention this has gotten from the politicians, the lower consumption by the public and the slowing US and europen economy I think
we will see the bubble burst soon. Once our money stops flowing over to the countries that are buying all the oil competeing with us their economy will slow
down also and there will be a big supply sitting around. The entire Isreal attacking iran aspect has driven it up a bit lately but If they do atttack iran and
oil is up at least we dont have to worry so much about iran and if we attacked iran it would cost the US billions and billions that would inturn cost us more
than what we pay for fuel. When this train crashes its going to rock the world. I hope the govt doesnt bail anyone out who made bad decisions or tried to get
rich quick.

Where will this end? Will it end? Is this the beginning of the end for us as a country?
Yet, we do very little to reduce our spending. The post office has to be screaming, too. Why don't the give up mail delivery on Saturday? Or deliver every other day? I agree with Tom. Screw it. The cost is passed along to customers, but I see less customers because people are not traveling as much. Not that they can't afford to buy the gas to go on vacation, just they can't afford the vacation itself because they been hosed all year long. I really think nothing will change until we become more confident about our actions in Iraq. In my opinion, I think the economy was good during Clinton's time in office only because Gorge Bush senior went over and kick their ass and came home. We fought a war, very short war, and he came home as he promised. We had never felt better. Our confidence level was high. Now, we are over there and nobody seems to know exactly what we are trying to accomplish. And to listen to Bush talk, he sounds like he's smoking pot. He gets that funny look on his face as if to say "Who am I? Where am I?" To bring the price of oil down, we need to start buying smaller barrels!

I don't think Washington cares because all of them are getting rich off of it.
We have the worlds greatest economy and it all rides upon rubber tires and is pulled by diesel fuel. You cannot ask for anything better except outrageous fuel prices. Does everyone agree? Is the Co that owns the VALERO stations from Israel. INTERESTING

fuel went down from $4.75.9 to $4.65.9 on the hiway. People were waiting for the fed to lower the prime rate yesterday and when they didnt I think we will see
things change soon. Now the cononomy is infor a good shakeup that we need to turn things around.
