Indiana State Police troopers arrested a coal truck driver, who was found to be under the influence of cocaine.
Authorities say around 1:30 this afternoon, 32 year old Mike Cunningham of Mackey, Indiana was on the side of the road just north of Lyles Station Rd., on Highway 41 southbound.
Witnesses say he was getting ready to tow an abandoned truck when a semi struck and killed him.
The semi then went over an embankment and spilled the coal it was hauling.
The semi driver, 50 year old Randall McSwain of Henderson, was not hurt and was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence of a controlled substance causing death.
Police had to shut down traffic for 3 hours while crews cleaned up the accident.
