Had dispatch do a follow up call and made the decision to have a wrecker come out with me to do the recovery. About 20km out of town we found a (I think) F-150 on it's roof almost stright down 30 or so feet. Definetly glad I had a wrecker come along as the truck was hung up on several large rocks and a small tree, would have been hard to impossible to get up onto the road with the deck. No recovery pics as both myself and the other driver had our hands full doing the recovery while FD sprayed a couple of fresh hot spots.
Here's the truck up on the road on it's roof still just after we got it up onto the road.
At our yard just prior to unloading approximatly 2hrs later.
Burnt car has gotta be one of my least favourit smells.
Especially when it's still wet and dripping and gets all over your clothes and gloves, and your arms
Came straight home to take a shower after this one.
