I was buying a used Ford UD tow truck from an individual and put $1000 cash down for the deposit. I signed no contract and they gave me a
receipt. I can't get this truck anymore becaue I have no place to park it*. I still can't pay them the full amount ($10,000) for another
two weeks, but they've refused to post the truck on Craigslist again saying that they've already turned down offers which may be true.
Do I have any options here? They will need the money at some point soon; maybe I should tell them I won't pay for the truck for a few months and
they'd be better off refunding me and selling it to someone else?

doesn't make the clearance at my local parking garage, and I need to buy a smaller wrecker now.
