Prevost Tour Bus

I wish I'd gotten a picture but Friday before last I towed a 45' Prevost Motor Coach tour bus 120mi. to Spokane. The driver claimed it weighed in at just under 57k lb. It had independent front suspension and I had to tire lift it. No one in our area has a Landoll. Is there a special attachment or fork to help in lifting these bad boys?

This was the first new ambulance I ever drove. It was a 2000, I installed all the equipment, radios, etc. It will probably fix, though insurance is dragging their feet. This happened on July 4th and it is still in the same condition today.

In Texas we have 2 way feeders. We had a wreck that they disregarded the ambulance for, so they got on the westbound feeder traveling east. This impatient guy jumps off the interstate on a little crossover and looks east, but never looked...

Here is one for all you supertowers. Now i know it CAN be towed , but can you imagine doing a few of these a month,or week or???
Saw it while doing an out of town run and had to make a uturn to snap some pictures, It had twin steer,tandem middle axles and single axle on the wagon.I had to laugh , it had more aircondtioner unit than i could shake a stik at. The folk had made it into a motor home or motor apartment?

My co-worker went to tow a greyhound the other night, found it parked (abandoned, as usual!) on a down hill grade with a broken belt. The kneeling function was set and he could not find a way to get it back up even with the bus fully aired up. We even got hold of their "chief mechanic" and still could not get the thing to raise up.
Questions: Even if we could get it up onto blocks would it be high enough to clear sitting in tall forks while kneeling?...

Yesterday morning saw a 60' artic being hiked (driven) on M 28 E/B.

Bet you fellas didn't even know they were driving though. Anyone get the tow on one of those yet? I asked da Moose, but I cannot post his reply to that in this PG room.......

Last new one I had was a few winters ago, the fire suppressant system went off and killed the engine. There is only so much any manufacture can do to...

This is a coach that I had to get today for failing a DOT stop where they were hitting all of the buses coming through the Delaware Water Gap bridge. They called for a service truck but couldn't tell me what the problem was. I didn't have a good feeling so I took the wrecker which was the right choice. Two axle seals leaking, a bunch of lights, 1 tire, and the driver was put out of service for no log book so he couldn't drive it anyway if I could of fixed it.

Eddie towed this one today to a Dodge dealer 85 miles away. The MD wrecker was on a box truck winch out so he used his truck.

He said it felt good & pulled the hills better then the MD 650. This one had 20,000 miles...

one of our transit co's just got a couple of these.....their exact words were plan your route carefully....no greater than a 10 deg lift. they are thinking of getting more that are hybrids.

the factory sent us the bus "pins" for this unit,they attach right behind the bumper,slightly modified to be used with the miller bus pins

We received a call from our customer to tow in a International flat-nose bus. The bus unloaded kids at a school and made it to the end of the parking lot before the water pump blew out of it. Nice and easy tow back to there bus garage. Thanks for looking,
