help fuel issue06 c5500

okay guys hoping someone on here has a answer to my problem... first of all the truck is throwing no check engine light at all but it started at a 1/4 tank of fuel it would act like it was running out of fuel i would fuel up it would be fine, then a few days later at a 1/2 tank it would act up the rear tank would be full of presure so i figure it was vapor locking so i changed the caps, now at a full tank it acts up it acts like its running out of fuel you will be cruising down the high way...

Some of the lights in my truck was knocked out.And I decided to replace them with some better lights. I had to trim the plastic a little with a cut off wheel and put a new plug in there.But now I can have turn signals or strobe the led's for extra lights.

Need some info?

are they not making chevy and gm trucks for 2010???? I';m looking everywere for them and can only find 09's just wondering if they stoped production.I love there light duty wreckers but wish they would make a bigger gvw and 19.5 wheels.

98 ,6.5 motor just started starting hard once it starts truck stays runnig but going down the road seems down on power. mech. said it could be inj. pump any thoughts on this one... thank you... markk

06 c5500 eating oil

My 2006 c5500 is eating a qt of oil a day.. its the big block gas motor in the truck not the 6.6 durmax diesel.. the truck is not smoking, not lacking power I'm guessing between 8&9 miles per gal is the mileage and the truck is probibly getting close to 150 miles on it a day running all day.... it does occasional smell like condensation in the muffler even though its been running for hours.... it does not leak any oil and the coolant is clear of any oil.... could it be normal to on...

who has the most miles on there 6.6 duramax motor? we run a 07 duramx and a 05 duramax the 05 got a new motor at 135,000 under warranty dealer said had a defective rod .so just wondering what every body is averaging in motor life because my extended warranty is going to expire soon.would rather keep running this truck than replace at this time. thanks

we got a Chevy 5500 that had check engine light come on and truck went it to limp home mode 20 mile a hour max. we got to dealer and they found map sensor unplugged so they did not cover it under it's warrenty they said some one must have unplugged it. why would we unplug it so we could drive home 30 miles a way from dealer 20mph.a lot of dealers not all are the worst enemies for the car and truck companies.

I have a 1996 Chevrolet W5500 ( Isuzu ) and have for the most part 300000 trouble free miles. That is untill yesterday and cant figure it out.

When you turn it off it still runs with the key in the off position.

Any help would great.

Ive got a 2003 chevy c6500 with a cat motor and the throtle position sensor (foot pedal) has gone bad. It's a dealer item only and not one in the whole USA. Chevrolet has informed me that they are negotiating for aftermarket parts and don't know when this part will be manufactured. If anyone knows of a salvage yard for meduim duty parts that may have this part please call me at 772-473-2748.
